Exhaustion

Exhaustion

Have you ever felt tired for no reason at all? If you have then you might be experiencing exhaustion. Exhaustion is something that everyone will experience in their lives. Whether it be from extensive physical activity or from psychological and mental activity, exhaustion is still exhaustion. You will get tired and exhausted, and it’s a normal part of life. However, exhaustion can also be a sign that something is terribly wrong with your body.

What Can Cause Exhaustion?

Exhaustion as we’ve mentioned has many causes, mainly the physical, mental and psychological stress and trauma you have to undergo during your life. However, these aren’t the only things that can cause you to become exhausted. External diseases and conditions can also cause exhaustion that can heavily affect your energy in your day to day life. For example, Rheumatoid Arthritis not only causes constant pain and stiffness, but it also causes exhaustion, as your own body uses its own energy to attack your own joints. Fibromyalgia can also cause exhaustion in people who have it, both directly from the pain it causes and also indirectly from the mental trauma it causes.

Another thing to keep in mind is that mental health conditions can also put a damper on your day to day ability to function properly. Depression in particular has a nasty side effect of causing you to both lose your motivation and energy to live life to the fullest.

Nutrition is also a big factor when it comes to the energy you have each day. Not having the right diet is a quick way to become exhausted and cause a number of other issues later down the line.

What We Can Do About It

You need to keep in mind that exhaustion is usually tied to the thing causing it. So, the first thing you have to do when dealing with it is to find out what is causing it. If it’s a regular thing in your day to day life like exhaustion from exercise or the work you’re doing, then you’re alright. You simply have to take some rest to alleviate it. The same can be said for dietary issues as you simply just need to make sure you get the right nutrition.

Physical and mental conditions are a bit tougher though. These will often need the help of a professional to make sure you’re getting the right help you need.
